Community Schools Grant (CCSPP) Info.

The California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP) Implementation Grant aims to support the establishment of new community schools or the expansion/continuation of existing ones. Community schools are comprehensive school improvement initiatives where educational agencies collaborate closely with teachers, students, and families. These schools form partnerships with community agencies and local government to align resources for enhancing student outcomes. Functioning as both physical spaces and collaborative networks, community schools integrate educational, nonprofit, and governmental entities to provide holistic support to students. The approach is characterized by four pillars identified by the Learning Policy Institute: integrated student supports, expanded and enriched learning time and opportunities, family and community engagement, and collaborative leadership and practices. These pillars serve as guiding principles for implementing effective community school models tailored to local contexts.
