Health Services Department
School nurses at Greenfield Union School District are certified Registered Nurses (RNs) with special training in school health. They work as part of a team to support the health and education of all students. Our nurses provide health assessments, manage communicable diseases, conduct state-required screenings like vision and hearing checks, and offer first aid and disaster preparedness. They also help with immunization follow-up, report child abuse, connect families to community resources, and provide health education. Additionally, school nurses train and supervise staff to help with specialized health care needs, all while focusing on keeping students healthy, attending school, and succeeding.
