Extended Day Care Program
REGISTRATION PACKETS FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR ARE AVAILABLE NOW AT THE DISTRICT OFFICE.
The Extended Day Care (EDC) Program is a positive alternative for working parents in need of child care. It is our purpose to provide a planned program for children in kindergarten through fifth grade during designated hours before/after school.
The EDC Program is a school district program, approved annually by the Greenfield Union School District Board of Trustees. Fees provide the salaries for staff, daily snacks, materials, and all other expenses of the program.
Enrollment will be open to any qualifying child provided the EDC Program can meet the needs of that child.
The EDC Programs are located at Granite Pointe, Palla, and Valle Verde Elementary School.
Greenfield Union School District provides bussing for TK-5th students enrolled in daycare at Horizon and Crescent Elementary School to the daycare facility located at Valle Verde.
Greenfield Union School District will also provide bussing for TK-5th students enrolled in daycare at Planz, Prosperity, and Kendrick Elementary School to the daycare facility located at Palla.
