PDC (Parent Data Confirmation)

Annual Parent Data Confirmation (PDC) is now open for the 2024-25 school year!
 

We need your help to ensure that your student and emergency contact information is as accurate and current as possible. PDC is required at the beginning of every school year.

During the Aeries PDC window, parents/guardians must update contacts, fill out the income survey, update medical information for students, allow/deny authorizations, confirm the parent/student handbook, and much more.

To ensure this, please complete the annual Data Confirmation process in your Aeries Parent Portal ASAP.

The process takes approximately 15 minutes, so plan accordingly.                

Review all information and update as needed.

You will not be able to view classes/teachers until PDC for your student(s) is complete AND your school site has enabled the classes/teachers for viewing for the entire school (this happens closer to the first day of school).

Some school sites are finalizing classes and might not have that information viewable at this time.

What is PDC (Parent Data Confirmation)?
Parent Data Confirmation replaces the large packet of paper forms (like the Parent/Student Handbook, emergency pink card, etc).
 
Processing the paper forms take secretaries/clerks 30-40 minutes per student.
The digital version of the forms, PDC, takes parents/guardians 10-15 minutes, and saves school sites days and weeks of processing each form. In addition, school nurses, social workers, and other student services departments are able to identify students in need of services and provide them with those services sooner.
 

PDC will ensure that your student's school will have the most up-to-date information on file for your student and allow you to:

    • Add/Update/Remove Emergency Contacts
      • NOTE: Parent/Guardian contacts can only be updated by request in-person with ID at the school site

    • Add/Update/Remove Medical Conditions & Allergies

    • View and Acknowledge the Parent/Student Handbook, Parent Compact, Annual Notice, and more (required annually)

    • Accept/Deny Authorizations (required annually)

    • Fill out the Housing Questionnaire and Migrant Questionnaire (helpful for distributing resources)

  • Fill out the Income Survey
    • (IMPORTANT! The Income Survey determines a large portion of funding; funding goes directly to school sites and classrooms!)

  • Print a new emergency card
 
School site staff and district staff deeply appreciate parent/guardian support and participation for PDC!

La Confirmación de datos de los padres reemplaza el paquete grande de formularios en papel (como el Manual para padres/estudiantes, la tarjeta rosa de emergencia, etc.).

Procesar los formularios en papel les toma a los secretarias de 30 a 40 minutos por estudiante.
La versión digital de los formularios, PDC, les toma a los padres/tutores de 10 a 15 minutos y les ahorra a las escuelas días y semanas de procesamiento de cada formulario. Además, las enfermeras escolares, los trabajadores sociales y otros departamentos de servicios estudiantiles pueden identificar a los estudiantes que necesitan servicios y brindarles esos servicios antes.
 
PDC se asegurará de que la escuela de su estudiante tenga la información más actualizada registrada para su estudiante y le permitirá:
  • Agregar/Actualizar/Eliminar Contactos de Emergencia
    • NOTA: Los contactos de los padres/tutores solo se pueden actualizar mediante una solicitud en persona con una identificación en el sitio de la escuela
 
  • Agregar/Actualizar/Eliminar Condiciones Médicas y Alergias
 
  • Ver y Reconocer el Manual para Padres/Estudiantes, el Pacto de Padres, el Aviso Anual y más (requerido anualmente)
 
  • Aceptar/Denegar Autorizaciones (requerido anualmente)
 
  • Completar el Cuestionario de Vivienda y el Cuestionario para Migrantes (útil para distribuir recursos)
 
  • Completar la Encuesta de Ingresos
    • (¡IMPORTANTE! La Encuesta de Ingresos determina una gran parte de la financiación; la financiación se destina directamente a los sitios escolares y las aulas).
  • Imprimir una nueva tarjeta de emergencia
 
El personal del plantel escolar y el personal del distrito aprecian profundamente el apoyo y la participación de los padres/tutores en el PDC!
