TIP

The GFUSD teacher induction program (TIP) is a two year mentoring-based program that serves all beginning teachers who have successfully completed a teacher credentialing program and hold a preliminary teaching credential for multiple subject, education specialist, or single subject credential. Teacher induction is the pathway to receiving a professional clear credential in the state of California as outlined in SB2042.

All teacher induction program (TIP) candidates are carefully matched with a qualified mentor who will provide the candidate with consistent weekly support, individualized inquiry, just-in-time mentoring, and formative assessment based on the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP). TIP also provides professional development for candidates designed to support their attainment of the California Standards for the Teaching Profession.
