Funding for the Greenfield Preschool Programs is provided by the Child Development Division of the State Department of Education. Centers are licensed by the State Department of Social Services and the programs are operated under the guidelines developed by the State Department of Education.
Greenfield School District has 2 State Funded Programs.
1. Greenfield Children's Center located at 5400 Monitor Street is open from 7:00 - 5:30 Monday - Friday and is targeted for parents who work full time or go to school full time.
2. Plantation Preschool located at 901 Plantation has a morning and afternoon session, our a.m. class is from 8:00 - 11:00 and our p.m. class is from 12:00 - 3:00. This program is targeted for 4 year olds who will be entering Kindergarten the following year. Eligibility is based on the age of the child and family income.
